Clerkships
For those who would like to obtain an experiency at a different institution, several good medical schools offer those experiences. Usually these experiences last from 1 to 3 months, and are offered in several different areas. Most institutions require that you be in your last year of medical school. Some require that your medical school is LCME accredited, ie. US medical school. International Medical Graduates will need a visa for clerkships, and most will have to apply for a J1 visa.
